Quick Tip/Fix: Mac OSX Start up Disk, "The case of the missing disk space"

This Picture says it all right?  If you don't recoginize it, its from "Sex and the City" Carrie and Adian are at "Tech Serve" (pre apple store days) Trying to recover her crashed "wallstreet powerbook" hard drive, after she recieved the "sad mac".
